Whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend escape, have come to town for Queenscliff’s festivals or for a longer family summer holiday by the sea, all your needs are catered to.
You will be delighted by the fresh and modern architectural renovation which retains the charm of the original 1940s seaside cottage while adding beautiful light-filled spaces and all the comforts of home.
Centrally located on one of Queenscliff’s lovely green tree-lined streets, it’s just a short walk to the beach and the historic main street, and all the local festival venues. You’ll have cafes, galleries, and all your daily shopping needs on your doorstep.
With all your linen supplied, this welcoming four-bedroom home can comfortably accommodate from 2 to 8 people. Three bedrooms have a Queen-sized bed, the fourth, a King Sized bed. The front two bedrooms also have floor to ceiling glass doors which open directly into the front garden, a delightful private area to relax and unwind. There’s also a fold out sofa and two single bed mattresses to flexibly meet your needs.
There are two bathrooms (one with bath, one with walk-in shower and toilet) and a separate toilet/ powder room. The laundry features Miele washer and dryer has a clothesline directly outside the door.
All on one accessible level, with secure fencing, and front and rear access, so everyone will feel at home, safe and relaxed: from the littlest ones through to older family members and your special four-legged family members. (We just ask that you keep your pooch off the furniture and clean up after them please.)
The well-equipped entertainer’s kitchen features Miele induction cooktop, oven and dishwasher and everything you could possibly need to whip up a storm. Open the glass sliding doors and step out to the timber deck and the sandstone paved courtyard with BBQ and outdoor dining setting. Capturing the sun during the day and lovely sea breezes in the evening, the courtyard is a perfect area to gather everyone around and enjoy a meal together – whether it's an easy bbq, fish and chips or your special signature dish.
Cleverly designed with zoned sleeping and living areas, there’s a quiet corner for everyone to relax, including a soft back lawn with plenty of space for kids to run around, or for snoozing in the sun after a long, lazy lunch. Rinse off under the outdoor shower after a day at the beach.
Comfortable and welcoming all year round with split-system air conditioning in the living/ kitchen area, ceiling fans throughout, and heating panels in all bedrooms and bathrooms. On cooler nights, a double-sided wood fire-place – open to both the dining and living areas, beckons you to snuggle up by the open fire with a cosy rug, your favourite tipple and a good book.
With wifi, smart tv – Apple TV, Netflix, Stan – a DVD player and a selection of dvds, books and games for your enjoyment, this lovely home is missing only one thing – you. So come and see for yourself. You won’t want to leave.
